Mikle Merkley Promoted to Senior BIM Technician

A self-described design and tech enthusiast, Mikle Merkley enjoys making a good idea into a great reality. For the last year, he’s applied his technical skills and creativity to solving the needs of Curtis Miner Architecture (CMA) clients. His elevation to Senior BIM Technician is a well-earned recognition of his contributions to our Visualizations team and firm.
CMA project managers and project architects rely on Mikle’s creative problem-solving and organizational skills when working with consultants, contractors, and clients. He has been instrumental in navigating the changing environment of building information modeling and its impact on project delivery. He maintains proficiency in monitoring building code compliance and maintaining code compliance as the design evolves and changes throughout a project.
His knowledge of the construction process has proven helpful while visiting a job site to observe progress, resolve issues, and minimize project delays. “I enjoy seeing things through to the end,” Mikle explains.
Team focused, his “here to help” attitude includes assisting coworkers’ growth, individually and collectively, through training and support. Mikle regularly shares his experience with programs like Revit, AutoCAD, Lumion, Photoshop, and SketchUp to train new BIM technicians.
