We’re pleased to celebrate the promotion of Nathan Brown to project manager. Nathan joined Curtis Miner Architecture (CMA) in 2017 as a senior drafter while he was pursuing his Master of Architecture degree at the University of Utah.

Nathan has enjoyed implementing the creative and technical components of architecture, working hard to learn the role of project manager. “I’m grateful for this new opportunity,” he shares. “I’ve been learning the ropes for a while now and am excited to continue learning and growing.”

A CMA project manager is responsible for handling the communications to help a project proceed smoothly through the various phases of design. Effective communication and collaboration with the owner group, consultants, and the production team are important PM responsibilities.

Nathan is most excited about being involved in projects on a deeper level. “The new set of challenges along with the opportunity to design their solutions motivates me. It’s also satisfying to have a comprehensive understanding of a project as well as play a role in decision making and the processes that determined the final outcome,” he explains.

This approach to continually looking for and providing opportunities for employees to learn and grow professionally is one CMA fosters. As we look for ways to enhance interaction, teamwork, and communication, we create value through excellent design and outstanding service.
