Canopy 4 Core & Shell Remodel
Curtis Miner Architecture (CMA) was hired by Cushman & Wakefield to update the exterior and interior of Building IV in the Canopy Business Park to update the interiors by converting five separate tenant spaces into one large space. When design began, the space had not yet been leased, but the client desired a space that would be universally appealing to a potential tenant. CMA’s design is an open concept with an industrial aesthetic. To create the openness of the space, the interior demising walls were removed, and a portion of the back floor was cut away to accommodate a stairwell that allowed large, open access to the second floor. An enhanced entry was designed with a new lobby, meeting rooms, and restrooms.
While the exterior improvements were not as extensive as the interior modifications, CMA created a consistent design by continuing the industrial aesthetic from the inside to the outside of the building.
