Joseph D. Adams Public Safety Building

To meet the growing needs of the Police Department, Lehi City built a new State-of-the-art Police Station designed to engage various architectural styles and periods, including the historical Broadbent Building.  Located on the Lehi City campus, the two-story building is 43,834 SF.

Lehi City desired a similar look and feel to historic Lehi Main Street. The design team worked closely with Lehi and came up with a design concept based on the development of a typical Utah block and streetscape. This concept is based on the idea that over time, a typical Utah block would have different architectural styles.

The building includes office space, emergency operations center (EOC)/community room, holding cells, lab, evidence processing/storage, indoor gun range, sally port, virtual reality simulator, and interview rooms.  Public parking is provided, in addition to a separated and secured parking lot for officers and staff. Covered parking is designated for patrol cars to decrease response time.
