Specialist Spotlight: Jane Healy

Jane-Healy-Marketing-Coordinator

As the firm’s marketing coordinator, Jane Healy is responsible for creating awareness of Curtis Miner Architecture as well as providing support for their business development activities.

Jane got her start working as a secretary for an engineering firm while in college. Intelligent and resourceful, she worked her way up to assisting the firm’s marketing director and then transitioned into the role of marketing assistant. Jane temporarily left the industry for several years to raise four children, then decided it was time to re-enter the workforce as her kids got older and more independent. Tapping into her network, she found that what CMA needed was exactly what she was looking for in a job.

What does a typical day look like for Jane? She’s usually working behind the scenes assisting architects in their marketing and business development efforts. “I update the website, manage the firm’s social media platforms, keep SOQs fresh, and update resumes and project pages,” she explains.

From attending strategy meetings to putting together handouts for conferences, the variety of her daily tasks keeps Jane moving. Her organizational skills, persistence, and patience help her keep busy architects focused on meeting their marketing goals. On top of all that, Jane’s mastery of Adobe programs like InDesign and Photoshop ensures CMA collateral enhances and elevates the firm’s brand.

She enjoyed planning the firm’s 20-year anniversary celebration last year. “It was really fun to be part of the committee who brainstormed and planned two open houses for two counties,” Jane shares. “I generally don’t have a lot of client interaction, so I loved greeting and interacting with guests at the welcome table as they came to celebrate with us. It was very rewarding to see all our efforts come together with great result.”

Born and raised in the AEC industry, Jane knows what qualities can set a firm apart from the others. She’s drawn to the culture and values of Curtis Miner Architecture as well as their focus on family. “We do fun things together,” she says. “Firm traditions like our Cinco de Mayo lunch and Pinewood Derby make it a workplace I love to be a part of.” We’re glad Jane’s a part of it, too.
