Our warmest congratulations go out to Blake Gneiting on earning the Moll/Betts Student Excellence Award. The award is given to the two students with the highest scores in the Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) exam during the latest fiscal year.
Blake joined Curtis Miner Architecture (CMA) in early 2020. A senior BIM technician, he also is enrolled at Utah Valley University pursuing a Bachelor of Architecture degree.
In September, Blake attended the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) National Conference in Nashville and was presented the award. CSI is an association dedicated to improving the communication of construction information. With more than 125 chapters and 7000 members throughout the country, CSI works to advance building information management and education of project teams to improve facility performance.
The award was established to promote a greater awareness of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) to students completing studies in a design- or construction-related educational program. The Construction Documents Technology (CDT) certification program was developed for professionals who prepare, interpret, enforce, or manage construction documents.
Passing the 120-question exam demonstrates Blake’s knowledge of the writing and management of construction documents and a commitment to continual improvement, excellent design, and outstanding service.
Well done, Blake!
