Granite Credit Union – SLC, Ogden, West Valley Satellite Branches

CORE Architecture partnered with Granite Credit Union (GCU) to design three satellite branches within Rancho Markets in Salt Lake City, Ogden, and West Valley City, Utah. This project reinforced our passion for collaborating with clients on multiple locations, ensuring consistency in branding, functionality, and customer experience across all three spaces.

Each branch was a tenant improvement remodel, thoughtfully designed to integrate the key programming elements (customer lobby, teller stations, offices, and the work room). The layouts maximize efficiency within a compact footprint while maintaining an inviting and professional atmosphere. Warm materials, strategic lighting, and branded design elements create a welcoming space that fosters trust with the local community.

By placing branches directly inside Rancho Markets, GCU brings essential financial services closer to the community, making banking more accessible and familiar. Our design approach balanced functionality, aesthetics, and cultural connection, ensuring that each location aligns with GCU’s mission while offering a comfortable and efficient banking environment.

Working on multiple locations with GCU has been a rewarding experience, allowing us to help bring their vision to life while strengthening connections within the community. This project highlights how thoughtful design can enhance accessibility and trust, making a meaningful impact on both businesses and the people they serve.
