The HUB Food Truck Park
CORE Architecture partnered with city planners and developers to bring The Hub to life—an innovative, permanent food truck venue located in the heart of South Jordan, Utah. Designed as a vibrant new model for casual dining and community gathering, The Hub provides a dedicated space for up to 12 rotating food trucks, creating a diverse and ever-changing culinary destination.
At the center of the site is a 1,994 SF permanent pavilion structure that offers both indoor and outdoor seating for up to 160 patrons. This versatile space is designed to function year-round, providing comfort, shelter, and a dynamic atmosphere that supports a wide variety of dining experiences.
The building features wood framing with shear walls, providing structural integrity while allowing for large openings that connect the interior to the surrounding environment. Translucent panel windows are strategically placed to bring in abundant natural light, enhancing the sense of openness and energy throughout the space.
One of The Hub’s signature design elements is its garage-style doors, which can be opened or closed depending on weather and event needs, blurring the line between indoor and outdoor dining. The result is a flexible, community-centric pavilion that adapts to different seasons and events with ease.
The Hub exemplifies CORE Architecture’s ability to create purpose-driven commercial spaces that combine innovation, efficiency, and placemaking. It’s not just a dining venue—it’s a culinary destination and social anchor for the South Jordan community.
