CORE Architecture designed the United Underwriters Office Building as a refined, high-performance headquarters located along the scenic Provo River in the Riverwoods Office Park. This three-story commercial office building blends contemporary architecture with the surrounding natural environment, creating a sophisticated and functional workplace for leading local businesses.
Positioned near the street edge for visibility and ease of access, the building is framed by lush landscaping and a gently flowing stream, reinforcing its strong connection to nature. The exterior features a carefully composed mix of traditional granite and stucco, paired with curved glass and an aluminum canopy that naturally leads visitors to the main entrance.
The building’s design emphasizes daylight and transparency. Expansive multi-story glass panels fill the interior with natural light, enhancing energy efficiency while contributing to occupant wellness. Inside, the main lobbies are finished in granite and warm wood tones, offering a welcoming and professional atmosphere that reflects the building’s high-quality design standards.
One of the standout elements of the project is its below-grade parking, which increases the available parking capacity without compromising the site’s aesthetic. The protected underground parking also improves convenience and comfort for tenants throughout the year.
