Mike Anderson | AIA, NCARB

PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT

Mike was exposed to the most rural and urban living counterparts early in life; influencing his interest in the role architecture plays to shape and compliment both the built and natural environments. Work opportunities and classes through high school and early college exposed Mike to trades involving engineering, architecture, and construction. Mike received an Associates of Science and Drafting Technology from Utah Valley University, during which time he joined CMA in November 2000. Mike received a Bachelor of Science (2008) and Master of Architecture (2010) degrees from the University of Utah. Over the past several years Mike has worked on a diversity of project types including: Multi-family housing, Mixed-use, Office, Municipal, Institutional, Retail, Light Industrial, Automotive, Healthcare and Interiors. He prides himself in working through all phases of design and construction with teams consisting of: engineers, builders, and owner groups to execute projects with a focus on holistic design and success for all involved.

Did you know?

Mike enjoys traveling to experience other cultures, meeting new people, and trying new foods. He enjoys playing and watching sports and pretty much anything outdoors. His greatest joy is found spending time with his five daughters. Fun times as a kid consisted of swimming in ponds, river rafting, building cars, fishing & hunting, and riding dirt bikes.
