Cirque Lodge Studio Resident Rooms

CORE Architecture partnered with Cirque Lodge to design a new residential facility on the organization’s Orem Campus, expanding its nationally recognized addiction recovery program with a purpose-built environment focused on healing, comfort, and support. The facility features 52 resident units, each designed to offer privacy, safety, and a calming atmosphere for individuals in recovery.

At the heart of the project is a commitment to creating a therapeutic residential setting that supports both individual reflection and peer connection. In addition to private rooms, the facility includes shared support spaces and meeting rooms designed for group therapy, educational programming, and informal interaction among residents and staff. These spaces were planned with flexibility in mind to accommodate a range of therapeutic approaches and recovery services.

Natural materials, warm finishes, and strategic lighting contribute to a soothing and residential feel, helping residents feel at ease in a setting that supports long-term recovery. Layouts were thoughtfully developed to balance accessibility, privacy, and visibility—fostering a sense of community while ensuring personal space.

Located on the established Cirque Lodge campus in Orem, the new building strengthens the organization’s mission by expanding capacity and offering an updated, purpose-driven environment aligned with best practices in behavioral health design.

This project showcases CORE Architecture’s experience in addiction recovery facility design, emphasizing wellness, dignity, and architectural sensitivity in support of transformative care.
