Club Pilates – SLC Studio

CORE Architecture worked closely with Club Pilates to design a modern, purpose-driven studio within the second level of the Marmalade Building in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. The project transformed a vacant space into a vibrant, wellness-focused environment that reflects Club Pilates’ commitment to health, movement, and community.

A shared main lobby was created to support multiple tenants, while a separate, branded entrance provides direct access to the Club Pilates suite. A key design feature is the high interior butt-joint glazing system, which creates transparency and openness while maintaining spatial separation. Unique finishes throughout the space reflect the brand’s clean, contemporary identity and elevate the overall user experience.

The centerpiece of the interior is a large workout space specifically designed to accommodate Club Pilates’ signature reformer machines, offering clients a spacious, functional, and energizing environment. The studio features exposed ceilings, studio lighting, and expansive exterior windows on two sides that flood the interior with natural light, enhancing both comfort and visibility.

Sleek glass storefront walls welcome clients with a modern, open look from the corridor. This high-impact tenant improvement project exemplifies CORE Architecture’s expertise in delivering customized, wellness-focused design solutions that elevate user experience and enrich urban communities—especially in thriving destinations like downtown SLC.
